The primary purpose of this event is to raise awareness of and take action to protect two of our most vital water sources from mining:
The great artesian basin & the Pilliga from Santos Gas Mining and
The Great Barrier Reef from Adani Coal Mining.
During this event we will come together to share our stories and voices to create our own song of love and protection for the earth and our life giving water. The song creation will be audio and video recorded and a video clip of the song produced. The video can be used by you to share to raise awareness in your community, to email to your local MP, the minister for the Environment or whatever else will build this conversation and community around water protection.
Submission forms for the Santos Pilliga CSG gas mining plan will also be available on the night to sign and be submitted before the submission period closes on May 22.
Come along, share your story and be part of creating a song for water.
NB. This is a free event – however donations are gratefully accepted to help cover the cost of renting Onespace HQ.
