We are thrilled to share that ‘Open Studio: Sebastian Moody’, as a part of Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art’s ‘Open Studio’ series, is now open at QAG’s Pelican Lounge.
‘Open Studio: Sebastian Moody’ comprises two spaces: the Artist Gallery and the ‘Mind | Body’ space. These spaces are interconnected conceptually and experimentally through research conducted by Moody as an artist-in-residence at QAGOMA.
Moody states: ‘I believe ideas hold the world together – not things. My work encourages people to evaluate their value systems and consider how they construct meaning. I am more interested in why things matter than in mattering’.
