Meet Demi Conrad, Onespace’s brilliant Gallery Assistant!
Graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor in the Creative Industries at The Queensland University of Technology, majoring in Art History and Fashion Communication, Demi is now completing further study at The University of Queensland in Art History. Demi’s passion lies in connecting with artists and engaging audiences in the gallery, and more broadly cultivating inspiring spaces. Since January, Demi has been interning with the gallery and will continue to assist the Onespace team in both exhibition development and a variety of artist projects going forward.
“I practice as an artist myself, mainly working with painting (oil on canvas), where I will usually sell some of my work to friends and family here and there. Working with Onespace has given me true insight into how influential representation is to an artist’s life and practice. This experience has been truly invaluable – I often pinch myself that I am experiencing such an amazing opportunity” – Demi.
