Onespace congratulates Prita Tina Yeganeh for her solo exhibition, My Soil Farsh فرش: Iteration 3 (Place, As Guest), at Redland Art Gallery.
Exhibition dates: 8 February – 22 March 2026
Location: Redland Art Gallery, Cleveland.
Experience Prita Tina Yeganeh’s powerful installation and print works where she reclaims cultural knowledge from exile, reframing heritage crafts not as static artefacts but as living epistemologies. Her works employ soil, water, scent, light, and sound to create sensorial encounters that invite audiences into layered experiences of memory and belonging.
“My Soil Farsh is an ongoing project about place and community-building, and this is the third iteration. Grounded in the Iranian sensibility of Farsh (Persian carpet) as both an actual and symbolic ground for gathering, artist Prita Tina Yeganeh reimagines this ancient tradition as an evolving, participatory, ecological artwork that fosters togetherness and connection in the diaspora.
Essay writer, Dr Bree Di Mattina, states, “The evolving and expanding nature of Yeganeh’s Farsh iterations demonstrate the focus in the project on community and connection. While initially searching for her own community, the Farsh iterations and associated exhibitions have grown to encompass a broader sense of community and the unifying force of shared experiences. The incorporation of different people and objects create links across places and time.”
