The latest Issue #142 of Art Guide Australia features a fantastic article on Teho Ropeyarn’s practice and work leading up to The National 4: Australian Art Now at Carriageworks.

Writer Briony Downes states: “With intergenerational communication as a central theme, Ropeyarn brings together his contemporary experience of everyday life with traditional oral histories passed down from his Elders and written history from colonial archives…Ropeyarn has spent much of his artistic career blending his knowledge of both [Angkamuthi and Yadhaykana] cultures to preserve important elements of his heritage for future generations.”
