Onespace is delighted to congratulate Elisa Jane Carmichael on her selection as a finalist in the prestigious Telstra ‘National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art Awards‘(NATSIAA) 2023 exhibition. This marks her third nomination, an achievement that speaks to her ever-growing recognition by esteemed industry colleagues across the country.

The Telstra NATSIAA awards celebrates the incredible diversity and richness of contemporary Australian First nations artistic practice and is one of the most eagerly anticipated art exhibitions each year. Elisa’s work continually acknowledges, nurtures, and protects her culture and the resources provided from Quandamooka Country. We are incredibly proud to support her as she continues to innovate with her work.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Telstra NATSIAA team and the MAGNT team for their hard work and dedication to making this year’s exhibition a reality. We also congratulate all award category shortlisted artists and cannot wait to see Elisa’s work alongside the nation’s talented line-up of First Nations artists in the exhibition.
