Onespace is proud to congratulate Elysha Rei on her selection as a finalist in the UniSQ Biennial Art Award!
Her featured work explores the intersection of emotion, connection and personal transformation. As Elysha describes: “This work is part nervous system, part emotion, part root system searching for ground through a web of connections that forced me to reflect on the patterns I kept attracting, and what it means to finally break them.”
The UniSQ Biennial Art Award celebrates and champions contemporary Australian art, bringing artists and audiences together through exhibition and engagement. The award encourages meaningful conversations around contemporary practice while creating opportunities for artists to build networks, connect with institutions and contribute to the cultural fabric of their communities.
Elysha’s work, don’t lose yourself under the weight of another’s emotional unavailability, is now showing at the UniSQ Art Gallery until October 2. Onespace warmly congratulates Elysha and all of the finalists on their inclusion in this important exhibition. Visit the UniSQ Art Gallery and experience the exhibition for yourself. For more information, see the UniSQ Art Gallery website.
