In VAULT Magazine’s latest Issue 41 (February – April 2023) is a feature article on conceptual Sebastian Moody, written by Hamish Sawyer.
The article takes a look at Moody’s practice who, for more than two decades, has used language as a medium for making sense of the world. Exploring highlights from the artists’ oeuvre such as Open Studio, 2022 at the Queensland Art Gallery, Sunshine Psychology, 2021 at the Museum of Brisbane and the Brisbane City Council commission Voices, 2022, Sawyer describes Moody’s work as ‘having a way of getting under your skin’ and ‘a kind of contemporary art by stealth’.
