Experience Tamika Grant-Iramu’s vibrant mural, A Verdant Landscape, at the Queensland Art Gallery Café. Inspired by the lush greenery of the nearby South Bank Parklands, this mural reflects a place deeply meaningful to Tamika—shaped by childhood adventures and formative connections as a @qcadgriffith student. Featuring vivid frangipani and South Bank’s iconic bougainvillea, A Verdant Landscape beautifully expresses Tamika’s connection to the natural landscapes that surround us and its ongoing presence within her practice.
Tamika would like to thank painting assistants Renee Kire, Michelle Grant-Iramu and Kellie Vella, as well as the support from QAGOMA and QAG Café teams.
