Onespace is delighted to congratulate Marian Drew on her shortlisting for the STILL: National Still Life Award 2025. Her work, ‘Sedentary’ (2025), engages with the still life tradition by using photographic and sculptural techniques to explore how everyday materials, like rocks, can be recontextualised through composition and perspective. ‘Sedentary,’ was also shortlisted for The Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Award 2024.
STILL: National Still Life Award is Yarrila Arts and Museum’s (YAM) national biennial acquisitive art award, which recognises excellence, diversity and innovation in contemporary still life practice while broadening the interpretation of this enduring genre.
The Award recipients will be announced on Saturday, 6 September 2025. We congratulate YAM and all the shortlisted artists on this year’s award.
